$225.00

The Ernest barware Collection; named after renowned explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton and the 2010 discovery of his abandoned camp (1907) in Antarctica.

This collection was inspired by the discovery of Shackleton’s camp along with a 100 year old crate containing 11 bottles of Mackinlay's Scotch whiskey. Bottles buried in Antarctica's minus 22 Fahrenheit (-30 Celsius) temperature and the desire to have the perfect glass compliment those bottles.

Ernest glassware was designed with a weathered look, as if the glass too had been buried in Antarctica for 100 years and weathered over time.  Each piece is well textured on along the body and contrasted at the bottom with a hand-polished fluid-like edge.

These glasses are perfectly counter-weighted with a heavy base.  The subtle qualities of the design are simple yet strong, and earnest.

3 3/8" X 3 1/4" X 3 3/4"
